GENEROSITY
From the beginning in Genesis 4 through the entire bible, our gifts are the centerpiece of worship for believers.
In Psalm 96:8 the psalmist simply says:
“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into His courts.”
How we do church today has changed over the years, but the giving of an offering has never changed. Over and over the Bible teaches us that everything we are and everything we have is His.
So at Shelter Cove, we joyfully and faithfully give back. We are good stewards (managers) of the time, gifts, and resources God has given us.
FUND DESCRIPTIONS
GENERAL CHURCH BUDGET
Provides for the ongoing ministry of SCCC both locally and globally.
JOIN THE JOURNEY
Is a recurring gift that commits to giving to the Lord generously through SCCC on a regular basis: Weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly.
LAW ENFORCEMENT SUPPORT FUND
Supports the law enforcement officers in our community.
HELPING HANDS
Is a benevolence fund to help those in need in our community.
RMC / BUILDING FUND
Supports SCCC in the upkeep of the building.
DEBT REDUCTION
All Debt Reduction funds are directly applied as additional mortgage principal payments in order to become debt-free.
MISSIONS
Give toward the many local, national, and global missions efforts of Shelter Cove.
